Like French
window shutters, our shutters can make a stunning feature. We
have designed this website to give a basic flavour for our products.
You will find much more information in our range brochure and price
list and can request a copy by going to the 'contact
us' page. Meanwhile, here are some frequently asked questions
that may be of assistance in the interim.
What are your decorative shutters made
from?
Our decorative shutters are made from
a form of plastic called copolymer (similar to PVC). Shutters are
moulded with a wood grain finish so that they look like painted
wood. Headers and door surround pilasters have a slightly mottled
stone effect finish.
What’s the difference between
copolymer and wood?
The copolymer material means that unlike
wooden decorative shutters, our shutters will never
need painting and won’t rot, split or crack, backed by a 40
year manufacturer's warranty which has withstood the rigours of
time and climate throughout the USA. They are also light weight
which makes them easier to install.
How much do your products cost?
They vary greatly dependent upon style
and size. For example, shutter prices start at £53
for a pair, but on average are likely to be in the region of £80
to £100. You can request a full price list through our contact
us page.
Where do you deliver to and how much
will it cost?
We can deliver anywhere. Our standard
delivery charge is £12.95 for UK mainland and
Northern Ireland. Islands and other non mainland destinations will
require delivery quoted separately.
How do I measure up?
Measuring for all our products is quite
easy but you’ll probably need more product detail first. We
recommend therefore that you order our brochure and price list,
which also gives full measuring details, from the contact us page.
How easy are your products to install?
Pretty easy. Shutters, for example,
simply require holes drilled into the shutter, their positions
marked onto your wall, holes then drilled into the wall and finally
to be fixed into position by tapping in the fixings supplied with
a hammer.
Our headers and surrounds have back plates which are
fixed to the wall in an almost identical way to our shutters.
The decorative sections simply snap into position.
Further details are given in our price
list and are of course, supplied with the product.
